Usyk Joshua World Title Fight Confirmed
Dubbed “The Rage on the Red Sea”, this is the fight all AJ fans have been waiting for as he looks to become a three-time World Heavyweight Champion!
AJ: "A happy fighter is a dangerous fighter"
In the announcement AJ called the fight "my date with history". He now has the chance to become a three-time unified heavyweight world champion, and added: "A happy fighter is a dangerous fighter and I am the happiest and most motivated I have been."
Current unified Heavyweight World Champion Usyk requested a delay to the original rematch so that he could help the on-going struggles in his home country of Ukraine. He said of the fight “I have a goal, with the help of the Lord I will complete my mission!”

Eddie Hearn: Anthony Joshua is more determined than ever.
Promoter Eddie Hearn told reporters "We are thrilled to get one of the biggest Heavyweight rematches in boxing history made and give Anthony Joshua the chance to reclaim what he lost in London last September...We know Oleksandr Usyk is a great fighter and we saw that last time out, but I know Anthony Joshua is more determined than ever."
Alexander Krassyuk, Usyk’s Promoter, said: “The rematch is on the way. The fight will be much bigger and more spectacular than the first. It is new history in the making."

New look to the AJ Camp
The fight announcement comes hot on the heals of the news that Anthony has signed a long-term global deal with DAZN and that AJ has added Roberto Garcia, one of the best in the business, to his training team.
Garcia a former World Champion himself, and a Ring magazine trainer of the year, has already taken his fighters to 14 World Titles and joins AJ's exciting head trainer, Angel Fernandez.
With these two great boxing minds working together we're sure to see a winning new fight plan for this crucial Championship fight.
